If we presume that geometric typefaces play with the idea of what typography would look like in the future when all unnecessary elements would disappear, than most of their designers seem to envision the future in a rather metropolisque kind of way.
We love geometric faces, but the cold and heartless feelings that most of them leave is just not our cup of tea. That is why we are happy to bring some optimism in that genre with our new typeface.

We took the liberty to deviate from the standard sans serif glyphs while drawing some characters (such as ”a” and ”r” ), others (“w” “k”) are completely redesigned. Probably the biggest trademark of this typeface is the way vertical lines in most lower case characters are “cut” so they end in a 60 degree angle.
Other than that, it is suitable for both headline and body text, print and web.
But at the same time there are hundreds of faces that differ a little, and still manage to make a difference by moving with small steps towards better and more refined looks.
Ratcaps and Ratkeys were designed as a set of highly-legible keycap fonts for use in software and systems documentation destined for in-house printing. They were specifically designed for clarity and legibility even on low-resolution (300 dpi) laser printers.
Ratcaps consist of representations of the basic alpha-numeric keyboard keys. Ratkeys contains the special function and modifier keys. Both fonts also come in a 3D-effect version.
Santeli is a big and bold script family containing three weights. It has a smooth feeling spiced with sharp edges.
Near the end of his life, legendary type designer Eric Gill lived in Jerusalem, and became interested in the typesetting of the Hebrew alphabet and the challenges it entailed. He designed his own Hebrew font which has not (to my knowledge) been digitized before.

But it is quite readable, and does start to grow on you after a while; extended text in Gill Hebrew is possible. I've added a set of alternate digits that are based on the shapes of the letters (Gill’s digits are pretty standard text figures).
I've also made some of the Unicode Hebrew symbols that Gill didn't (e.g. New Sheqel Sign, Alef-Lamed ligature, etc.) and also included vowel-points.
Gudrun Zapf von Hesse designed Smaragd for D. Stempel AG, who released it in 1952.
Smaragd is a hand-tooled, all-caps titling face with hairline serifs.
Smaragd works well for book titles, invitations, calling cards, and posters.
Smaragd Alternate differs from the main face in offering a hollow variant of the umlaut (dieresis) accented characters.
Someday, as computers become the new medium for writing, the art of cursive handwriting will slowly become a lost art. Calligri seeks to preserve this endangered style with tastefully drawn letters that connect with each other in classical artistry.

The designers of wood type in the 1880s did not lack for inspiration or imagination. From extremely ornate designs to ultra compressed or condensed alphabets, there was no shortage of variety.
Saddle Tramp JNL is one such compressed font.
Its wide, bold design coupled with its squat appearance allows for multiple words in a headline without overuse of page space.
Stencil Project JNL combines a number of themes within the many decorative stencil designs re-drawn from vintage sources.
The character set is short but make no mistakes, it is complete.
Illegible, unreadable, unusable, this overly-geometric sans adheres to a set of rules just barely allowing an alphabet.
But, hey it’s free.
Wood Type Bodoni JNL is a variant of the popular ultra bold version of the classic Bodoni design, with variants in character widths and shapes.
Based on a vintage set of wood type, the “hairline” strokes of the 4 and 8 have been made ever-so-slightly thicker in spots to add a modest amount of additional contrast.
Printing Press Designs JNL accumulates various vintage embellishments, ornaments, border elements and miscellaneous designs into one handy collection.
Before 1959, in pre-Castro Havana, Cuba, the preeminent nightclub was the Tropicana.
During the regime of Fulgencio Batista, Cuba was resplendent with nightclubs and gambling casinos catering to [mostly] the North American tourists; which brought it the title of the Monte Carlo of the Americas.
Although Cuba (and the world as a whole) has changed vastly over the decades, the hand-lettered logo of the Tropicana Night Club has survived, and has been reproduced as a complete digital font called Tropicano JNL (a slight twist to the club’s name).

This font clearly illustrates Jan Tschichold’s dictum that the New Typography would employ “the simplest form” and “the minimum means.” Based on his typeface Transito, the letterforms are as fresh and vibrant today as they were when introduced in 1931.
All versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.
Linotype Balder is a part of the Take Type Library, winners of Linotype’s International Digital Type Design Contest. Designed by Lutz Baar, Balder is reminiscent of advertisement and poster typefaces of the 1950s and 1960s.
It is composed of only capital letters, making it perfect for initials and headlines. Balder looks as though it were written with a broad tipped pen. Its light serifs at the tops of the characters and the slant of some of the strokes give Balder a dynamic feel.
Louise font was based on the art of Louise Marie (lou) Loeber, a Dutch painter. She was born in Amsterdam in 1894 and flirted with several styles like De Stijl, Cubism and Bauhaus. Her artworks are characterized by a sober use of geometric shapes; lines, rectangles and triangles.
Louise font consists of Caps, but the lower and upper case glyphs are quite different.
Louise comes with extensive language support.
Pentastic is a natural hand printed font designed for the look of written by pen. Clear legible style yet cute and fun.
Pentastic features extended characters, containing West European diacritics and ligatures, making it suitable for international environments and publications.
Tarocco is a typical book face with good readability and rather tall x-height. The origin for this typeface is found in Nordisk Antikva. A typeface especially constructed with attention for the Swedish language.
Waldemar Zachrisson was determined to realize his ideas and in 1906 he began to cooperate with the foundry Genzsch & Heyse, based in Hamburg.
Some influences of Jugendt can be found and the typeface were released in 1910. It became rather popular until around 1930.

An isolated typeface design with a calligraphic flavor. The Nastarkib font family employs visual features from the Urdu Persian Nastaliq Calligraphy. Visual connectivity is accomplished by overlapping glyphs with downward slopes.

Nastarkib employs variable x-height values. It includes only the Lam-Alif ligatures. Soft-vowel diacritic marks, harakat, are selectively positioned. Most of them appear by default on the same level, following a letter, to ensure that they would not interfere visually with letters.
Tatweel is a zero-width glyph. Keying the tatweel key before Alif-Lam-Lam-Ha will display the Allah ligature. Nastarkib includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic numerals, in addition to standard punctuations.
Wyoming Macroni is the split-serif (or Tuscan) version of the Wyoming series. The Pegged version adds a horizontal spike through the middle of the stems, which has been a popular variation of this style.
