The first sans serif types were made in London in the early 19th century. They were severely modern, all caps and bold.

The Figgins foundry, inventor of the term sans serif, showed a ﬁne example in its specimen of 1836.

The extra bold weight of Figgins Sans is a close revival of the original, with the addition of a lower case which retains its partly geometric, partly grotesque quality. The family is rounded out with other weights and an italic, and extended into Cyrillic and Greek, all executed in what is assumed to be as authentic a manner as possible, given the hypothetical nature of the exercise.

A meeting of Byzantine and Art Deco forms, Aphasia began as a series of handwritten captions to accompany drawings in the early 1990s. The drawings were abandoned to allow the lettering to become the real composition.

Playfully set in blocks of verse with each line shaped through free-association, the only visual rule was that all the lines of capitals be of equal length. The challenge of the game required extensive abbreviations, ligatures, small caps, and superiors.

Ruling Script was designed in 1992 by Gottfried Pott, noted German calligrapher and teacher.

Bolívar is a contemporary display typeface inspired in the handwriting of one of the most prominent personalities of the Latin American 19th century: Simón Bolívar, “the liberator". The typeface intends to capture the passion of handwritten letterforms and to translate it into type.

Among the characteristics that best contribute to its strong personality, are the impressive length of ascenders and descenders as well as the more than 45 degrees of slant. Bolívar mimics certain aspects of handwriting such as the slightly different baseline for each letter and ink clogs in the counters of some letters.

Use Bolívar whenever you need to add passion to a piece of text, from logos or single words to sentences and captions.

undercoverLOVAHH is a unique typeface based on the sprightly and smooth handwriting of an equally jubilant classmate. It contains a full set of uppercase and lowercase characters, as well as accented characters in the case of a love that knows no borders.

Alek is a classy and elegant yet playful upright script family of two weights and an ornament set. EquipCondensed is the matching complement for Equip and with its 16 fonts it extends of the Equip family to 32 styles. It not only works superbly as a contrasting face for the ‘normal’ Equip but due to its moderate width, it also performs brilliantly as a space saving typeface.

EquipCondensed is very well suited for ambitious typography.

The EquipCondensed family comes in OpenType format with extended language support. Lettering artist Michael Clark brings us his newest design, Sweepy. It is
based on his popular Pooper Black but it is lighter and has connecting letters.

Sweepy also has an optional enhanced OpenType version available with over 50 alternates.

Pooper Black Pro is based on a brush ethic and has an extreme axis that lends a certain amount of speed to the font while the lack of connectors slows it down. The pro version expands on the original and popular Pooper Black with the addition of full Central and Eastern European character sets and plenty of alternate characters for those who have applications that support Opentype features.

Almost all of the lower case characters now include an in stroke and out stroke version for greater design flexibility. A wonderful face for packaging, titling, and short bursts of text.

Peanut is a face full of bounce and playfulness but is based on the traditions of the long revered Roman minuscule. The letters are unique in that they imply “youth” without relying on cliche child-like letterforms.

Peanut Salted features many alternate letterforms and both fonts are combined into Peanut Pro.
