Named after the collaboration of Frank Sheeran, Ian Chai and Glenn Chappell that produced the FIGlet application, FIG is set of three postscript typefaces in the spirit of early email and ASCII art explorations.
Written in 1991 using the programming language C, the FIGlet application allows users to create fonts with basic ASCII characters. The FIG types capture the simplicity of the FIGlets with a family that includes a sans, a serif and a script.

Surf Serif is the font that retains some features and proportions of the old-style antiqua, but is adapted for modern conditions, mainly screen ones.
Its uncompromising hard lines and corners create an expressive contemporary image being used in larger point sizes accidents.
In the text sizes the font proportions, its triangular serifs and the displaced stresses cause some associations with the early Renaissance and even a gothic style. It makes the text useful where brutal modernity must be combined with historical allusions.

The Serif Hand is a handwritten font designed by Fanny Coulez and Julien Saurin from French foundry La Goupil Paris. We wanted to create the most generic, readable and balanced serif handwritten font, to work well in every kind of design.
It’s an all-caps font with 5 weights and alternates : all the uppercase letters are different from the lowercase letters. We also designed a regular dotted version so you can vary your effects.

The Pacific Sans and the Pacific Serif originated from the Pacific Standard, a space effective type face, especially designed for poster lettering. This hand drawn serif font is perfect for giving a fun touch to your projects. It combines a handmade look and rough texture with classic serif forms. It has support for most western and central European languages, and has alternates for most letterforms accessible through Opentype features, allowing for variations that make it look authentically hand-drawn.
Here is a boxy, extremely squared alternative to display designs like Eden or Glamour. In comparison, Centric Serif does not share the fragile and delicate nature of these old 1930s classics. Instead it is fairly robust with a splayed M and a simple flattop A.
It is interesting to note that Centric Serif (unlike Centric Geo) sports serifs in exaggerated and curiously bizarre ways.
Centric Serif is now available in the OpenType Std format. Some new stylistic alternates and historical forms have been added to this OpenType version. Advanced features work in current versions of Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Creative Suite Illustrator, and Quark XPress.
